The only response I can think of would be the price people are willing to
pay. Hayek never says anything about profi right? He just talks about the
price people pay for an item giving the market valuable information.

Once again- trick question. I talked to Dr. Baker about this and she said that Hayek believed there was no standard for whether prices are good or bad. He doesnt believe in an objective price and is not an ethicist.
